ws2812b led strip is more and more pupular in the last years, as there are led chip can be build in ic , then one meter led strip can make max 144leds, ,in addition ,there are price is much cheaper than ws2801, lpd8806 led strip , there are some parameter of ws2812b led strip ,voltage is 5v , each led current is 20ma , ic is ws2811, gray scale is 256, frequncy speet is about 400hz, only have data way output ,
nowdays ,a new build in ic apa102 led strip is come out , their gray scale is 256 , voltage is 5v , each led current,which is as same as ws2812b , but they have data ,clock way ,output ,which mean their refresh speed is faster than ws2812b, ws2811, in addition ,they are more stable , but they are a little expensive than ws2812b.
and by the way ,there are apa104 led strip is new too, their parameter as same as ws2812b, but their price is much cheaper , i think in the near future, apa104, apa102 led strip will replace ws2812b ws2811,ws2801 led strip . as apa102 is better , apa104 is cheaper .
